4-I guide
The deniers asked, as a challenge, when the promised Day would come.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Is it more important to know when an exam is or to be ready for it?"
Watch the My Quran Translations video of Surah Yaseen with Mufti Menk's English translation.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do they ask?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why didn't Allah tell us the date?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ya-Sin is surah 36. Find ayah 48. The key word mata means when. The deniers asked when to mock, not to learn. Only Allah knows the time of the Last Day. The question that matters is not when, but what have we prepared? Being ready every day is the wise answer.
Fact: Which surah's last ayah lists five things only Allah knows, including the time of the Hour?
Ages 5–8: Ready bag. Pack a pretend school bag the night before so you are always ready.
Ages 9–12: Ready list. Write five daily habits that keep a Muslim ready.
Finish with: "I found that the surah is ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will get ready for tomorrow every night before bed."
Action: Get ready for tomorrow every night before bed.
