وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ
Wa 'āyatun llahum' 'annā ḥamalnā dhurriyyatahum' fī l-ful'ki l-mash'ḥūni
And a Sign for them is that We bore their race (through the Flood) in the loaded Ark;

Allah carried people's ancestors safely in the fully loaded ship, and that is a sign.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever been on a boat?"
Watch the MiniMuslims song Noah's Ark.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What was carried in the ship?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did a ship save so many?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ya-Sin is surah 36. Find ayah 41. The key word al-fulk al-mashhun means the fully loaded ship. Many scholars say this refers to the ark of Nuh, which saved the believers and the animals. Everyone alive today comes from those who were carried safely, so this is a sign for every one of us.
Fact: Which surah of the Quran is named after the Prophet Nuh?
Ages 5–8: Toy ark. Build a boat from a box and load it with pairs of toy animals.
Ages 9–12: Ark plan. Draw a plan of a big boat with rooms for people, animals and food.
Finish with: "I found that surah ___ is named after Nuh."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make a short dua before every journey."
