Bimā ghafara lī rabbī wajaʻalanī mina l-muk'ramīna

He wished his people knew that his Lord had forgiven him and made him one of the honoured.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How does it feel when someone forgives you?"
Watch the Ayshabla video Forgive Me, Allah.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two gifts did Allah give him?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What makes someone honoured by Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ya-Sin is surah 36. Find ayah 27. The key word al-mukramin means the honoured ones. The man received forgiveness and honour. In the town he was mocked, but with Allah he was raised high. Honour with Allah comes from faith and good deeds, not from what people think.
Fact: Which prophet forgave his brothers after many years apart?
Ages 5–8: Forgive and smile. Practise saying I forgive you with a smile in a pretend play.
Ages 9–12: Real honour. Make two lists: what people think makes someone important, and what makes someone honoured with Allah.
Finish with: "I found that ___ forgave his brothers."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah for forgiveness before I sleep."
Action: Ask Allah for forgiveness before you sleep.
