4-I guide

Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do you know when you have taken a wrong turn?"
Watch the Mufti Menk video Talking to Kids about Allah and the Prophets.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What would the man be in if he took other gods?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I tell right from wrong?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ya-Sin is surah 36. Find ayah 24. The key word dalal mubin means clear error, being plainly lost. The man used simple, honest logic: worshipping things that cannot help would be like walking away from home in the dark. He was speaking to help his people see clearly too.
Fact: Which tool helps sailors and hikers find north when they are lost?
Ages 5–8: Lost and found. Hide a toy and give hot and cold clues until it is found.
Ages 9–12: Map reading. Use a simple map to plan a route, then mark one wrong turn and how to fix it.
Finish with: "I found that the tool is a ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will fix one mistake as soon as I notice it."
Action: Fix one mistake as soon as you notice it.
