Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who can stop Allah's mercy?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why can nobody block Allah's mercy?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Fatir is surah 35. Find ayah 2. The key word yaftah means He opens. Mercy is pictured like a door that Allah opens: rain, health, friends, food. No person can close it. And if Allah holds something back, it is for a wise reason. This takes away fear of people and fills us with hope in Allah.

Fact: Which two names of Allah end this ayah?

Ages 5–8: Door of mercy. Draw a big door and fill the space behind it with mercies from Allah.

Ages 9–12: Open and closed. List three times something good came that you did not plan, and three things you are still waiting for.
