Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What can false gods not do?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do I know Allah hears me?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Fatir is surah 35. Find ayah 14. The key word khabir means the All-Aware. Allah hears every dua, even a whisper in the heart. Things people worship besides Him cannot hear or help. On the Last Day they will even reject those who prayed to them. Nobody can inform us like the All-Aware.

Fact: Which prophet called on Allah from inside the darkness of a whale and was answered?

Ages 5–8: Call and answer. One person calls from another room while another answers, then talk about how Allah hears without any rooms in between.

Ages 9–12: Dua times. Find out three special times when making dua is encouraged.
