Start with bismillah.

Ask: "How does it feel when someone calls you names for telling the truth?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two names did they call the Prophet?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people call names instead of discussing?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Saba is surah 34. Find ayah 8. The key words dalal ba'id mean far-off error. When people cannot answer an argument, they sometimes attack the person instead. The Prophet was known for honesty and good sense, so the insults made no sense. The ones truly lost were those who refused to think about the Hereafter.

Ages 5–8: Kind reply. Practise replying calmly when someone calls you a name.

Ages 9–12: Argument or insult. Sort ten sentences into real arguments and insults.

Finish with: "I found that it is called ___."
