The truth has arrived, and falsehood cannot start anything new or bring anything back.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can a lie build anything that lasts?"
Watch the Utica Masjid video Truth Has Come and Falsehood Has Vanished. Play the first few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What can falsehood not do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why can't lies create anything good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Saba is surah 34. Find ayah 49. The key words ma yubdi'u wa ma yu'id mean it neither begins nor repeats. Falsehood is empty: it cannot create, cannot bring back life, cannot last. Truth is strong and productive. Building on truth is like building on rock, while lies are like building on sand.
Fact: Which ayah in Surah At-Tawbah compares a building founded on piety with one on the edge of a crumbling cliff?
Ages 5–8: Rock or sand. Build two small towers, one on a firm base and one on loose sand, and pour water near them.
Ages 9–12: Build on truth. Write how one honest habit can lead to many good results.
Finish with: "I found that it is ayah ___ of At-Tawbah."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will build trust by keeping every promise I make."
Action: Build trust by keeping every promise you make.
