Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah do with what we give?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How does Allah replace what we give?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Saba is surah 34. Find ayah 39. The key word yukhlifuhu means He replaces it. Giving does not make us poorer: Allah promises to replace it, sometimes with money, sometimes with health, happiness or blessings we do not notice. He is khayr ar-raziqin, the finest of providers.

Fact: Which surah compares spending in Allah's way to a seed that grows seven ears, each with a hundred grains?

Ages 5–8: Seed maths. Count out seven groups of ten beans and imagine each became a hundred.

Ages 9–12: Grow the gift. Work out how many grains seven ears of a hundred make, and write what that teaches.

Finish with: "I found that one seed becomes ___ grains."
