Qul llā tus''alūna ʻammā 'aj'ram'nā walā nus''alu ʻammā taʻ'malūna
Say: "Ye shall not be questioned as to our sins, nor shall we be questioned as to what ye do."

No one will be questioned about someone else's mistakes, only about their own.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "If your brother forgot his homework, whose fault is it?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who answers for each person's deeds?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is it fair that each answers for themselves?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Saba is surah 34. Find ayah 25. The key word tus'alun means you will be asked. Each person will be asked about their own choices. Notice the humble wording: the Prophet even said our sins, showing great politeness. Focusing on our own improvement instead of others' faults is a wise habit.
Fact: Which surah says that no burdened soul will carry another's burden, and also mentions the scrolls of Ibrahim and Musa?
Ages 5–8: My jobs. Make a chart of your own jobs and tick them off each day.
Ages 9–12: Mirror first. Write one fault you will work on before pointing at anyone else's.
Finish with: "I found that the surah is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will fix one of my own habits before commenting on others."
Action: Fix one of your own habits before commenting on others.
