Those who reject Allah have moved far from His mercy, and a blazing Fire has been prepared for them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What helps you stay close to someone kind?"
Listen to the D'Quran recitation of Surah Al-Ahzab, ayat 56 to 73, by Sheikh Sudais.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What has been prepared?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I stay close to Allah's mercy?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ahzab is surah 33. Find ayah 64. The key word la'ana means distanced from mercy. This ayah gives a short, serious warning. Allah's mercy is open to anyone who turns to Him, and it is only those who keep rejecting Him who move away from it. Believers stay close to mercy through prayer, kindness and asking forgiveness.
Fact: Which surah says Allah's mercy encompasses all things?
Ages 5–8: Close to mercy. Draw a big circle of mercy and put good deeds inside it.
Ages 9–12: Mercy habits. List five daily habits that keep us close to Allah's mercy.
Finish with: "I found that it is surah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah for mercy every evening."
Action: Ask Allah for mercy every evening.
