يَسْـَٔلُكَ ٱلنَّاسُ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ ۖ قُلْ إِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ تَكُونُ قَرِيبًا
Yas''aluka nnāssu ʻani ssāʻati . qul' 'innamā ʻil'muhā ʻinda -llahi . wamā yud'rīka laʻalla ssāʻata takūnu qarīban
Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh!

People ask when the Last Hour will come, but only Allah knows, and it may be near.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do people like to know the future?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who knows when the Hour will come?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How should I get ready for something when I don't know when it comes?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ahzab is surah 33. Find ayah 63. The key word as-sa'ah means the Hour, the end of this world. No one knows when it will come, not even the Prophet. Allah kept it hidden so that people would stay ready by doing good every day, instead of waiting until the last moment.

Ages 5–8: Ready bag. Pack a pretend ready bag with good deeds drawn on cards.
Ages 9–12: Always ready. Write how living ready every day changes the way you act.

Action: Do one good deed you have been putting off.
