إِن تُبْدُوا۟ شَيْـًٔا أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمًۭا
'In tub'dū shay''an 'aw' tukh'fūhu fa'inna -llaha kāna bikulli shay''in ʻalīman
Whether ye reveal anything or conceal it, verily Allah has full knowledge of all things.

Whatever we show or keep hidden, Allah knows it all.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can a thought stay hidden from Allah?"
Play a short part of Qari Mishary Alafasy's Al-Ahzab, shared by Alquran One Minute with a translation.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two things are mentioned, shown and hidden?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I keep my secret thoughts good?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Ahzab is surah 33. Find ayah 54. The key words tubdu and tukhfuhu mean you show and you hide. Allah knows our hidden thoughts as clearly as our words. This helps us keep our hearts clean and our intentions good, and it also comforts us: Allah knows the good we do in secret.
Fact: Which surah says Allah knows the stealthy glance of the eyes and what the hearts conceal?
Ages 5–8: Hidden picture. Draw with a white crayon and paint over it to reveal it, like Allah seeing what is hidden.
Ages 9–12: Heart check. Write a good intention for each thing you will do tomorrow.
Finish with: "I found that it is surah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will make a good intention before school each day."
Action: Make a good intention before school each day.
