يَحْسَبُونَ ٱلْأَحْزَابَ لَمْ يَذْهَبُوا۟ ۖ وَإِن يَأْتِ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ يَوَدُّوا۟ لَوْ أَنَّهُم بَادُونَ فِى ٱلْأَعْرَابِ يَسْـَٔلُونَ عَنْ أَنۢبَآئِكُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ فِيكُم مَّا قَٰتَلُوٓا۟ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا
How to read it
Yaḥ'sabūna l-'aḥ'zāba lam' yadh'habū . wa'in ya''ti l-'aḥ'zābu yawaddū law' 'annahum bādūna fī l-'aʻ'rābi yas''alūna ʻan' 'an[m]bā'ikum' . walaw' kānū fīkum mmā qātalū 'illā qalīlan
They think that the Confederates have not withdrawn; and if the Confederates should come (again), they would wish they were in the deserts (wandering) among the Bedouins, and seeking news about you (from a safe distance); and if they were in your midst, they would fight but little.
