Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What lessons do ruins hold?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah As-Sajdah is surah 32. Find ayah 26. The key word masakinihim means their dwellings. The people of Makkah travelled past the ruins of 'Ad and Thamud on their trade journeys. Those empty homes were silent reminders that power and wealth do not last without faith. Allah asks: will they not listen?

Ages 5–8: Then and now. Draw an old ruin and a new building and talk about what lasts.

Ages 9–12: Lessons from history. Pick one nation from the Quran and write the lesson from its story.
