Opening the ayah…
نُمَتِّعُهُمْ قَلِيلًۭا ثُمَّ نَضْطَرُّهُمْ إِلَىٰ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍۢ
Numattiʻuhum' qalīlan thumma naḍ'ṭarruhum' 'ilā ʻadhābin ghalīẓin
We grant them their pleasure for a little while: in the end shall We drive them to a chastisement unrelenting.

4-I guide
Those who reject Allah may enjoy this world for a short time, but a severe punishment comes afterwards.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Does an ice cream last long on a hot day?"
Listen to the Al Kahfi Official recitation of Surah Luqman by Sheikh Ahmad Mukhtar.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How long is the enjoyment?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is this world's fun so short?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Luqman is surah 31. Find ayah 24. The key word qalilan means a little. Life's pleasures are real but brief, like an ice cream melting in the sun. This ayah gives a short warning that choosing brief pleasure over Allah leads to a hard ending. Believers enjoy good things gratefully while keeping their eyes on what lasts.
Fact: How many minutes does an ice cream cone take to melt on a hot day?
Ages 5–8: Melt test. Put an ice cube in the sun and time how long it lasts.
Ages 9–12: Short and lasting. Make a table of things that last a short time and things that last forever.
Finish with: "I found that the ice cream melted in about ___ minutes."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will choose one lasting good over a short pleasure."
Action: Choose one lasting good over a short pleasure.
