Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What should not sadden the Prophet?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What can I do when others won't listen?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Luqman is surah 31. Find ayah 23. The key word yahzunka means sadden you. The Prophet cared deeply and felt sad when people rejected his message. Allah comforts him: your job is to share kindly; the hearts are in Allah's hands, and He knows what is inside them.

Fact: Which surah tells the Prophet that he cannot guide whom he loves, but Allah guides whom He wills?

Ages 5–8: Kind sharing. Share something good with a friend and remember it is fine if they say no.

Ages 9–12: My job, Allah's job. Write what is your job when sharing good, and what is left to Allah.

Finish with: "I found that it is surah ___."

Talk together:

• Why did the Prophet feel sad?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• How can you share good without forcing it?
• How does trusting Allah ease sadness?
• What would you like to ask about this ayah?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will share something good and leave the result to Allah."
