Listen to the LIVEQURAN recitation of Surah Ar-Rum by Sheikh Saad Al-Ghamdi.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who answers the wrongdoers?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I gain knowledge and faith?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rum is surah 30. Find ayah 56. The key words al-'ilm wal-iman mean knowledge and faith. The people who understand the truth on that Day are those who had both. Knowledge without faith can be cold; faith without knowledge can be shaky. Together they give a clear view.

Fact: What was the very first word revealed in the Quran, in Surah Al-'Alaq?

Ages 5–8: Two wings. Make a bird with one wing labelled knowledge and the other faith.

Ages 9–12: Learning plan. Plan one thing to learn about Islam and one thing to learn about Allah's creation this month.
