Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Where can I see Allah's mercy today?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rum is surah 30. Find ayah 50. The key word athar means traces or footprints. Allah asks us to look at the footprints of His mercy: green shoots after rain, flowers on bare branches, rivers filling up. The One who revives the earth will revive people too.

Ages 5–8: Mercy hunt. Go outside and find five traces of Allah's mercy.

Ages 9–12: Photo diary. Photograph the same patch of ground before and after rain.

Finish with: "I found that flowers can appear within ___."
