Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do tiny droplets become rain?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rum is surah 30. Find ayah 48. The key words kisafan mean pieces or fragments. A sign to ponder: the ayah describes winds stirring clouds, spreading them across the sky, breaking them into pieces, and rain coming out from within. Scientists describe clouds growing as droplets join together until they are heavy enough to fall.

Fact: How many tiny cloud droplets join together to make one raindrop?

Ages 5–8: Cloud in a jar. With a grown-up, make a cloud in a jar using warm water and ice.

Ages 9–12: Rain steps. Draw a comic strip of the steps in this ayah from wind to rain.
