Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rum is surah 30. Find ayah 22. The key words alsinatikum wa alwanikum mean your languages and your colours. A sign to ponder: there are about seven thousand languages in the world, and countless skin tones. These differences are not a reason for pride or prejudice; they are signs of Allah's creativity. This ayah says they are signs for people of knowledge.

Ages 9–12: Colour palette. Mix paints to make many different skin tones and talk about the beauty of variety.
