وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَعَشِيًّۭا وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ
Wa lahu l-ḥam'du fī ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍi waʻashiyyan waḥīna tuẓ'hirūna
Yea, to Him be praise, in the heavens and on earth; and in the late afternoon and when the day begins to decline.

All praise belongs to Allah throughout the heavens and earth, at night and at midday.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who praises Allah besides people?"
Watch the Muslim Reminder Kids song Dua After Waking Up (voice only).
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where is Allah praised?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How do the heavens praise Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ar-Rum is surah 30. Find ayah 18. The key word al-hamd means praise and thanks. Praise for Allah fills the heavens and the earth. 'Ashiyyan is the late part of the day and tuzhirun is around midday. Together with the previous ayah, they cover the whole day.
Fact: What is the name of the prayer prayed around midday?
Ages 5–8: Praise around the house. Say alhamdulillah in every room of your house.
Ages 9–12: Praise times. Make a chart showing the five daily prayer times in your city today.
Finish with: "I found that the midday prayer is called ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say alhamdulillah at every prayer time."
Action: Say alhamdulillah at every prayer time.
