Start with bismillah.

Ask: "What's worth racing for?"

Begin a reciter's Ali 'Imran on Islamic Channel and listen for a few minutes.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What do they hurry to?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why hurry to do good?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ali 'Imran is surah 3. Find ayah 114. Racing in good means not waiting to help. Good people hurry towards good deeds before the chance passes.

Fact: The Qur'an tells believers to race to do good (2:148).

Ages 5–8: Good race. See who can do the most helpful acts in an hour.

Ages 9–12: Don't wait. Write why hurrying to good matters.

Finish with: "They ___ to good deeds."

Talk together:

• What do they believe?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why hurry?
• What good will you hurry to?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will help the moment I see someone needing help."

• Hurry to good.
• Don't wait.
• Be righteous.
• Next time: the next ayah (3:115) says their good is not lost. Explore it together!

Action: Help the moment you see someone needing help.
