لَن يَضُرُّوكُمْ إِلَّآ أَذًۭى ۖ وَإِن يُقَٰتِلُوكُمْ يُوَلُّوكُمُ ٱلْأَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنصَرُونَ
Lan yaḍurrūkum' 'illā 'adhan . wa'in yuqātilūkum' yuwallūkumu l-'ad'bāra thumma lā yunṣarūna
They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance; if they come out to fight you, they will show you their backs, and no help shall they get.

Those who oppose the believers can only cause them small trouble, and if they came to fight, they would turn back with no help.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can words really hurt a strong believer?"
A short clip on Learn Quran Live recites ayah 111 of Ali 'Imran. Play the whole clip.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "How much harm can they do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why could they only cause small trouble?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ali 'Imran is surah 3. Find ayah 111. This ayah reassured the small community in Madinah. Allah protects the believers; others could only cause minor trouble.
Fact: This ayah reassured the Muslims of Madinah, who were few in number.
Ages 5–8: Brave heart. Talk about staying calm when someone is unkind.
Ages 9–12: Protected. Write how trusting Allah makes you brave.
Finish with: "They could only cause small ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stay calm when someone teases me."
Action: Stay calm when someone teases you.
