Every living soul will one day taste death, and then everyone will return to Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What makes a journey feel worthwhile?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where does everyone return?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I make my life journey worthwhile?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-'Ankabut is surah 29. Find ayah 57. The key words dha'iqat al-mawt mean will taste death. Every life on earth is a journey with an end, and that end is a return to Allah, our Creator. This truth helps believers use each day well and look forward to meeting Allah with good deeds.
Fact: In which two other surahs does the phrase "every soul will taste death" appear?
Ages 5–8: Journey map. Draw your life as a path with good deeds along the way, leading home to Allah.
Ages 9–12: Use today well. Write three things you want to do with your life that will please Allah.

Make a small plan: "This week, I will do one good deed I would be happy to show Allah."
Action: Do one good deed you would be happy to show Allah.
