Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-'Ankabut is surah 29. Find ayah 29. The key words taqta'una as-sabil mean you cut off the road, meaning they robbed travellers. Lut's people committed shameful acts, made the roads unsafe and did wrong openly in their meetings. Instead of listening, they mocked Lut and dared him to bring punishment.
