Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who alone can bring the light?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How would life change without daylight?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qasas is surah 28. Find ayah 71. The key word sarmadan means endless, without break. Plants need light, and so do our bodies and minds. A sign to ponder: no one but Allah can bring the morning. Every sunrise is a gift we often forget.

Ages 5–8: Light or dark. Spend a minute in a dark room, then open the curtain and talk about light.

Ages 9–12: Sunlight needs. List five living things that need sunlight and why.

Finish with: "I found that the North Pole has about ___ months of darkness."
