4-I guide
Allah would settle the oppressed firmly in the land and show Pharaoh, Haman and their armies the very thing they dreaded.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can anyone stop what Allah has planned?"
Nouman Ali Khan tells the story of Musa and Pharaoh on The Absolute Truth channel. Play the first few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who would see what they feared?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why could Pharaoh's plans not work against Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Qasas is surah 28. Find ayah 6. The key word yahdharun means they were wary of. Pharaoh tried to stop a boy from growing up to defeat him. Allah's plan was that this very boy would grow up in Pharaoh's own palace. Haman was Pharaoh's chief minister.
Fact: What was the name of the ancient capital city of Egypt near today's Cairo?
Ages 5–8: Plans. Build a block tower, then talk about how Allah's plan is greater than ours.
Ages 9–12: Plans and plans. Write about a time your plan changed and something better happened.
Finish with: "I found that the ancient capital was ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say in sha Allah when I make plans."
Action: Say in sha Allah when you make plans.
