وَصَدَّهَا مَا كَانَت تَّعْبُدُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِن قَوْمٍۢ كَٰفِرِينَ
Wa ṣaddahā mā kānat ttaʻ'budu min dūni -llahi . 'innahā kānat' min qaw'min kāfirīna
And he diverted her from the worship of others besides Allah: for she was (sprung) of a people that had no faith.

The worship of others besides Allah had held her back, for she came from a people who did not believe.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How do our surroundings shape what we believe?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What had kept the queen from Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did she break free?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naml is surah 27. Find ayah 43. The key word saddaha means it held her back. The queen grew up among sun-worshippers, so she followed their way. Habits of a people can hold someone back. Once she saw the truth clearly, she was ready to change.
Fact: Which prophet, in Surah Al-An'am, looked at the sun and said it was not his Lord?
Ages 5–8: Good surroundings. Draw the people who help you stay good.
Ages 9–12: Breaking free. Write how someone can change a habit they grew up with.
Finish with: "I found it was Prophet ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will spend time with people who remind me of Allah."
Action: Spend time with people who remind you of Allah.
