وَجَحَدُوا۟ بِهَا وَٱسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ أَنفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًۭا وَعُلُوًّۭا ۚ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ
Wa jaḥadū bihā wa-s'tay'qanat'hā 'anfussuhum' ẓul'man waʻuluwan . fa-nẓur' kay'fa kāna ʻāqibatu l-muf'sidīna
And they rejected those Signs in iniquity and arrogance, though their souls were convinced thereof: so see what was the end of those who acted corruptly!

They rejected the signs out of injustice and pride, even though inside they were certain, so see how the corrupt ended.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why would someone deny something they know is true?"
Al-Minshawi's classic audio is posted by Door to Deen; listen to his opening.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Why did they deny?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can pride hide the truth?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naml is surah 27. Find ayah 14. The key word istayqanatha means they were certain of it. Their hearts knew the truth, but pride stopped their tongues. Admitting the truth takes humility. Their end is a lesson for anyone who lets pride win.
Fact: Which surah says, in ayah 33 of Al-An'am, that people were not really denying the Prophet but Allah's signs?
Ages 5–8: Honest answer. Play a game where saying 'I was wrong' earns a point.
Ages 9–12: Pride trap. Write why it is hard to admit being wrong and how to do it.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say 'You are right' when someone is right."
Action: Say 'You are right' when someone is right.
