فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا مُبْصِرَةًۭ قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
Falammā jā'at'hum' 'āyātunā mub'ṣiratan qālū hādhā siḥ'run mmubīnun
But when Our Signs came to them, that should have opened their eyes, they said: "This is sorcery manifest!"

When the signs came that should have opened their eyes, they dismissed them as plain magic.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever refused to believe something you could see?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they call the signs?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do some people close their eyes to truth?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Naml is surah 27. Find ayah 13. The key word mubsiratan means eye-opening, making things visible. The signs were as clear as daylight. Instead of looking, they gave them a label to brush them away. Labels can be a way of not thinking.
Fact: In Surah Yunus ayah 81, what does Musa say Allah will do to magic?
Ages 5–8: Open eyes. Cover your eyes, then uncover them and name everything you see.
Ages 9–12: Labels. Write how calling something a name can stop people from thinking about it.
Finish with: "I found that Allah will ___ it."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will listen fully before I judge something new."
Action: Listen fully before you judge something new.
