4-I guide
Ibrahim hopes Allah will forgive his mistakes on the Day of Recompense.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Even good people need forgiveness: why?"
Istiqamah Dar ul Quran explains Ibrahim's powerful dua, ayat 83 to 87. Play the first few minutes.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Ibrahim hope for?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why would a prophet ask for forgiveness?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 82. The key word khati'ati means my mistakes. Even Ibrahim, a great prophet, hoped for forgiveness. Humility means never thinking we are flawless. Hope and humility go together.
Fact: What does the Arabic word khati'ah mean?
Ages 5–8: Hope jar. Write 'astaghfirullah' on a paper and keep it in a jar.
Ages 9–12: Humble hope. Write why great people stay humble.
Finish with: "I found khati'ah means ___."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say astaghfirullah before sleeping."
Action: Say astaghfirullah before sleeping.
