4-I guide
Pharaoh's army chased the believers as the sun rose.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How would it feel to be chased?"
Islamic Inspiration tells what happened after crossing the Red Sea, in its Kalimullah series.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "When did the army set off?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did the believers feel being chased?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 60. The key word mushriqin means at sunrise. The believers had travelled all night. At dawn, the army caught up. Hard moments often come just before Allah's help.
Fact: About how far could people walk in a day long ago?
Ages 5–8: Sunrise run. Draw a dawn sky with travellers on the road.
Ages 9–12: Before help. Write about a hard moment that came just before relief.
Finish with: "I found people could walk about ___ kilometres a day."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will keep going on a hard task until it is done."
Action: Keep going on a hard task until it is done.
