4-I guide
Pharaoh turned to his courtiers and said, do you not hear what he is saying?
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do people sometimes mock instead of answering?"
Just a few minutes, please. Try a few minutes of Al-Minshawi, posted by Door to Deen.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who did Pharaoh speak to?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why didn't Pharaoh answer Musa directly?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 25. The key word tastami'un means you listen. Pharaoh could not answer, so he turned to his audience to mock. When someone has no answer, they sometimes try to get others to laugh. Musa kept going calmly.
Fact: Which ayah of An-Nazi'at records Pharaoh claiming to be the highest lord?
Ages 5–8: Keep calm. Practise taking a deep breath when someone laughs at you.
Ages 9–12: Mocking tactics. Write why mocking is not an answer.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___ of An-Nazi'at."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will stay calm if someone laughs at me."
Action: Stay calm if someone laughs at you.
