قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ ۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ
Qāla rabbu ssamāwāti wal-'ar'ḍi wamā bay'nahumā . 'in kuntum mmūqinīna
(Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure."

Musa said He is the Lord of the skies, the earth and everything between them, if only they would be sure.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How far does the sky go?"
Keep this one short. Al-Minshawi reads Surah Ash-Shu'ara here, uploaded by SimpleQuran.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What is Allah Lord of?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What lies between the heavens and the earth?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 24. The key words wa ma baynahuma mean and all between them. Musa pointed to the whole universe. A sign to ponder: from tiny atoms to huge galaxies, everything has one Lord.
Fact: About how far away is the nearest star after the Sun?
Ages 5–8: Sky layers. Draw ground, clouds, sky and stars in layers.
Ages 9–12: Between sky and earth. List five things that live or move between the sky and the ground.
Finish with: "I found it is about ___ light years away."
Talk together:
