4-I guide
The people of the wooded thicket rejected the messengers.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What would it be like to live in a thick forest?"
Maher S. Hoque teaches ayat 176 to 191 in a short lesson.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who denied the messengers next?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who were the people of the wood?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 176. The key word al-aykah means a thick wood or thicket. These people lived among dense trees. They were rich traders. The last story in this series begins.
Fact: Which ayat of Al-Hijr also mention the people of the wood?
Ages 5–8: Forest home. Draw a village among thick trees.
Ages 9–12: Last story. List the six peoples mentioned so far in the surah.
Finish with: "I found they are ayat ___ of Al-Hijr."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn which prophet went to which people."
Action: Learn which prophet went to which people.
