4-I guide
Nuh told his Lord that his people had rejected him.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who do you tell when you feel let down?"
The full upload is long. Let Ali Jaber's recitation, from islamicfromjamal, set a calm mood.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Nuh tell Allah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How did Nuh feel after so many years?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 117. The key word kadhdhabun means they denied me. After centuries of calling, Nuh brought his sadness to Allah. Complaining to Allah, not about Allah, is a sign of faith.
Fact: Which ayah of Al-Qamar has Nuh call out that he is overpowered and asks for help?
Ages 5–8: Tell Allah. Write a short dua telling Allah how you feel.
Ages 9–12: Complain to Allah. Write the difference between complaining to Allah and about Him.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___ of Al-Qamar."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will tell Allah how I feel in my dua."
Action: Tell Allah how you feel in your dua.
