They will lament that now they have no one to speak up for them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who would speak up for you if you were in trouble?"
It is a long video. Listen to Nasser Al-Qatami recite this part of Ash-Shu'ara on From Darkness To Light.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What will they not have?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Who can intercede with Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ash-Shu'ara is surah 26. Find ayah 100. The key word shafi'in means intercessors. On that Day, intercession happens only with Allah's permission. Those who rejected Allah will find no one to plead for them. Good deeds now are a friend later.
Fact: Which ayah of Al-Baqarah says no one intercedes with Allah except by His permission?
Ages 5–8: Speak up. Practise speaking up kindly for a friend.
Ages 9–12: Permission. Write why intercession is only by Allah's permission.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___ of Al-Baqarah."

Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will speak up for someone who needs help."
Action: Speak up for someone who needs help.
