Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did the people do with the Quran?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can I make sure I never abandon the Quran?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Furqan is surah 25. Find ayah 30. The key word mahjura means abandoned. Abandoning the Quran can mean not reading it, not thinking about it, or not living by it. This ayah is a gentle push to keep it close.

Fact: How many surahs are there in the Quran?

Ages 5–8: Dusty or used. Show a dusty book and a well-used book, and talk about which one the Quran should be.

Ages 9–12: Ways to abandon. List ways people leave the Quran and one fix for each.

Finish with: "I found there are ___ surahs."
