ٱلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ ۚ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَسِيرًۭا
Al-mul'ku yaw'ma'idhin l-ḥaqqu li rraḥ'māni . wakāna yaw'man ʻalāl-kāfirīna ʻassīran
That Day, the dominion as of right and truth, shall be (wholly) for (Allah) Most Merciful: it will be a Day of dire difficulty for the Misbelievers.

On that Day the true kingdom will belong to the Most Merciful alone, and the disbelievers will find that Day very difficult.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Who is in charge when everything else falls away?"
Play Abdul Rahman As-Sudais's recitation from Haramain Translations and follow along.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Who owns the kingdom that Day?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why use the name Ar-Rahman here?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Furqan is surah 25. Find ayah 26. The key word al-mulk means kingdom. Even on the Day of Judgment, Allah is named Ar-Rahman, the Most Merciful. His rule is complete and His mercy is great.
Fact: Which ayah of Al-Fatihah calls Allah the Master of the Day of Judgment?
Ages 5–8: King of all. Draw a crown and write 'Allah is the true King' below.
Ages 9–12: Mercy and rule. Write why Allah's mercy is mentioned even on that Day.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___ of Al-Fatihah."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will read Al-Fatihah slowly and think about 'Master of the Day'."
Action: Read Al-Fatihah slowly and think about 'Master of the Day'.
