Start with bismillah.

Ask: "Would you answer the school bell the same way as a friend calling you to play?"

Servant of Allah has Ahmad Khedr's An-Nur. Play a little.

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What does Allah know about those who slip away?"

Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How should I respond to the Messenger's teachings?" Younger children can draw theirs.

Find it in the mushaf: Surah An-Nur is surah 24. Find ayah 63. The Messenger's call is special. Believers respond with respect, not as if it were an ordinary call. Allah knows who quietly sneaks away, and warns them to be careful.

Fact: What is the Arabic word for the call to prayer? (adhan).

Ages 5–8: Bell game. Ring a bell and practise coming straight away.

Ages 9–12: Respectful answers. Write how to answer calls from parents, teachers and the adhan.

Finish with: "I found the call to prayer is the ___."

Talk together:

• Which call do you answer fastest?
• Which name of Allah does this remind you of?
• Why does the Messenger's call deserve respect?
• How do you answer the adhan?

Make a small plan: "This week, I will stop and listen when I hear the adhan ___ (where)."
