بَلْ قُلُوبُهُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍۢ مِّنْ هَٰذَا وَلَهُمْ أَعْمَٰلٌۭ مِّن دُونِ ذَٰلِكَ هُمْ لَهَا عَٰمِلُونَ
Bal' qulūbuhum' fī gham'ratin mmin' hādhā walahum' 'aʻ'mālun mmin dūni dhālika hum' lahā ʻāmilūna
But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do,-

But the deniers' hearts are lost in confusion about this, and they keep doing other wrong deeds.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What is it like to walk through a maze?"
Try a little of Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary's Al-Mu'minun from Daily Deen - Quran Recitations, and follow along.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Where are their hearts?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "How can a heart get lost?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mu'minun is surah 23. Find ayah 63. Their hearts are in ghamrah, a deep fog, so they don't think about the record or the meeting with Allah. They keep doing wrong. Remembering Allah clears the fog.
Fact: What's the largest hedge maze you can find out about?
Ages 5–8: Maze. Draw a maze and help a friend through it.
Ages 9–12: Clearing the fog. Write things that help a heart think clearly.
Finish with: "I found the largest maze is ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will spend quiet time remembering Allah ___ (when)."
Action: Have quiet time.
