وَجَعَلْنَا ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ وَأُمَّهُۥٓ ءَايَةًۭ وَءَاوَيْنَٰهُمَآ إِلَىٰ رَبْوَةٍۢ ذَاتِ قَرَارٍۢ وَمَعِينٍۢ
Wa jaʻalnā (i)b'na mar'yama wa'ummahu 'āyatan wa'āway'nāhumā 'ilā rab'watin dhāti qarārin wamaʻīnin
And We made the son of Mary and his mother as a Sign: We gave them both shelter on high ground, affording rest and security and furnished with springs.

Allah made 'Isa, son of Maryam, and his mother a sign, and gave them shelter on a high, restful place with flowing water.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "What makes a place feel safe and peaceful?"
Sit quietly and hear Mishary Alafasy, posted by Mohammed Ashraf. Only the start is needed.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did Allah give them?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why are 'Isa and Maryam a sign?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Mu'minun is surah 23. Find ayah 50. 'Isa and his mother Maryam, peace be upon them, were honoured by Allah. 'Isa's birth without a father was a sign of Allah's power. Allah gave them a safe, high place with water.
Fact: Which surah is named after Maryam? What number is it?
Ages 5–8: Safe place. Draw a peaceful hill with a spring.
Ages 9–12: Honoured women. Find other women honoured in the Quran.
Finish with: "I found Surah Maryam is number ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will learn one thing about Maryam from the Quran."
Action: Learn one thing about Maryam from the Quran.
