لَّهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ
Llahu mā fī ssamāwāti wamā fī l-'ar'ḍi . wa'inna -llaha lahuwa l-ghaniyyu l-ḥamīdu
To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: for verily Allah,- He is free of all wants, Worthy of all Praise.

Everything in the heavens and earth belongs to Allah; He needs nothing and deserves all praise.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can you think of anything Allah needs?"
Only a few minutes are needed: Abdul Basit Abdus-Samad recites Al-Hajj on القناة الرسمية للشيخ عبد الباسط عبد الصمد.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which two names end the ayah?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why does Allah not need anything?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Hajj is surah 22. Find ayah 64. Al-Ghani means free of all needs; Al-Hamid means worthy of all praise. We need Allah; He doesn't need us, yet He cares for us.
Fact: How many galaxies are there in the universe? Find an estimate.
Ages 5–8: Need list. Draw what you need, and remember Allah gives it.
Ages 9–12: Two names. Write the meanings of Al-Ghani and Al-Hamid.
Finish with: "I found about ___ galaxies."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say alhamdulillah after every meal."
Action: Say alhamdulillah after every meal.
