قَالَ أَفَتَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكُمْ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا يَضُرُّكُمْ
Qāla 'afataʻ'budūna min dūni -llahi mā lā yanfaʻukum' shay''an walā yaḍurrukum'
(Abraham) said, "Do ye then worship, besides Allah, things that can neither be of any good to you nor do you harm?

Ibrahim asked if they worship, besides Allah, things that can neither help nor harm them.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Would you ask a stone for help?"
Play a few minutes of Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary on QURAN IS LIFE.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What can the idols not do?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why worship only Allah?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anbiya is surah 21. Find ayah 66. Ibrahim reasoned clearly: if something can't help or harm, why worship it? Only Allah helps and protects.
Fact: Find the ayah in Al-Fatihah where we ask only Allah for help.
Ages 5–8: Help or not. Sort things that can help (people, Allah) and can't (stones).
Ages 9–12: Reasoning. Write Ibrahim's argument in three steps.
Finish with: "I found it is ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will ask Allah for help first."
Action: Ask Allah for help first.
