ثُمَّ نُكِسُوا۟ عَلَىٰ رُءُوسِهِمْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يَنطِقُونَ
Thumma nukissū ʻalā ru'ūssihim' laqad' ʻalim'ta mā hā'ulā'i yanṭiqūna
Then were they confounded with shame: (they said), "Thou knowest full well that these (idols) do not speak!"

Then they went back to their stubborn thinking and said, 'You know these do not speak.'
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Have you ever known you were wrong but still argued?"

Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they admit?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why do people go back to stubbornness?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anbiya is surah 21. Find ayah 65. They admitted the idols can't speak, but pride made them turn back. Knowing the truth isn't enough; we must accept it.
Fact: Which animal is known for being stubborn? Find out if it really is.
Ages 5–8: Upside down. Draw a person standing on their head and talk about 'flipping back'.
Ages 9–12: Pride. Write how pride can stop us accepting truth.
Finish with: "I found ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will accept correction without arguing."
Action: Accept correction without arguing.
