فَجَعَلَهُمْ جُذَٰذًا إِلَّا كَبِيرًۭا لَّهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِ يَرْجِعُونَ
Fajaʻalahum' judhādhan 'illā kabīran llahum' laʻallahum' 'ilay'hi yar'jiʻūna
So he broke them to pieces, (all) but the biggest of them, that they might turn (and address themselves) to it.

4-I guide
Ibrahim broke the statues into pieces, all except the biggest one, so the people would turn to it.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Why do you think he left the biggest one?"
Only a few minutes are needed: Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi recites Al-Anbiya on Door to Deen.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "Which one was left?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "What question would the big one raise?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anbiya is surah 21. Find ayah 58. Ibrahim left the biggest statue so his people would ask it what happened. If it couldn't answer, they'd see it was powerless. This was a prophet's lesson by Allah's guidance; we never break other people's things.
Fact: Read 21:63: what did Ibrahim tell them to do?
Ages 5–8: Can it answer? Ask a toy a question and wait. Talk about why it can't reply.
Ages 9–12: Proof by asking. Write how a question can show the truth.
Finish with: "I found he told them to ___."
Nabi Ibrahim did this as a prophet teaching his own people, with Allah's guidance. We never touch or damage anything that belongs to others, including our neighbours' places of worship or statues; we show respect and share what we believe with kind words.
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will use a good question to help someone think."
Action: Use a good question to help someone think.
