Qālū 'aji''tanā bil-ḥaqqi 'am' 'anta mina -llāʻibīna

They asked whether he was bringing the truth or just joking.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "How can people tell if you're serious?"
Play the short recitation of ayat 51–72 from Quranic Topics.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they ask?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did they think he was joking?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Anbiya is surah 21. Find ayah 55. They couldn't believe anyone would question their idols seriously. Ibrahim was completely serious about the truth.
Fact: Find the next ayah to see Ibrahim's answer (21:56).
Ages 5–8: Serious face. Play a game guessing if someone is serious or joking.
Ages 9–12: Serious truth. Write why truth deserves to be taken seriously.
Finish with: "I found Ibrahim answered ___."

Talk together:
