إِنَّآ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّنَا لِيَغْفِرَ لَنَا خَطَٰيَٰنَا وَمَآ أَكْرَهْتَنَا عَلَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلسِّحْرِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌۭ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ
'Innā 'āmannā birabbinā liyagh'fira lanā khaṭāyānā wamā 'ak'rah'tanā ʻalay'hi mina ssiḥ'ri . wa-llahu khay'run wa'ab'qā
"For us, we have believed in our Lord: may He forgive us our faults, and the magic to which thou didst compel us: for Allah is Best and Most Abiding."

They said they believed so that Allah would forgive their sins and the magic Pharaoh forced on them, for Allah is better and everlasting.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Can a person start fresh?"
Idrees Abkar's channel has his Ta-Ha. Listen together for a short while before the ayah.
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What did they ask Allah to forgive?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why did they think of forgiveness first?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Ta-Ha is surah 20. Find ayah 73. The magicians had done wrong, partly because Pharaoh forced them. Now they turned to Allah for forgiveness. Allah forgives those who turn to Him.
Fact: Find the ayah that says do not despair of Allah's mercy (Az-Zumar 39:53).
Ages 5–8: Fresh start. Wipe a dusty mirror clean and talk about forgiveness.
Ages 9–12: Forgiveness. Write how asking Allah's forgiveness gives a fresh start.
Finish with: "I found it in Surah ___, ayah ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will say astaghfirullah each evening."
Action: Say astaghfirullah each evening.
