وَٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلْخَٰشِعِينَ
Wa -s'taʻīnū bi ṣṣab'ri wa ṣṣalāti . wa'innahā lakabīratun 'illā ʻalāl-khāshiʻīna
Nay, seek (Allah's) help with patient perseverance and prayer: It is indeed hard, except to those who bring a lowly spirit,-

4-I guide
Seek help through patience and prayer, which is hard except for those who are humble before Allah.
Start with bismillah.
Ask: "Where do you go for help when things are hard?"
Settle down and play the start of a reciter's Al-Baqarah (Oneness Believer).
Now listen to the ayah together in the app, with the translation. Ask: "What two things bring help?"
Each child keeps one wonder question, for example: "Why is prayer hard for some and easy for others?" Younger children can draw theirs.
Find it in the mushaf: Surah Al-Baqarah is surah 2. Find ayah 45. Sabr and salah are two great sources of help. The Prophet would turn to prayer when worried. Humble hearts find prayer a comfort.
Fact: When something worried the Prophet, he would turn to prayer (Abu Dawud).
Ages 5–8: Help steps. When upset, take a breath, be patient, make du'a.
Ages 9–12: Two helpers. Write how patience and prayer help.
Finish with: "Seek help through patience and ___."
Talk together:
Make a small plan: "This week, I will pray two rak'ahs when I feel worried."
Action: Pray two rak'ahs when you feel worried.
